"Had a girls night here and it was absolutely beautiful! The location is great, right on the water. Used the kitchen to cook a meal as they had all the necessities. Would love to come back!"

"Chateau Victoria, don’t be fool by the name. It is close to all the action, walking distance but beside that there is plenty of other option. Room very out dated, no AC beside the small one in the bedroom. Was 30c when we were there this week and was cool in the small bedroom but the rest of the unit was very hot. I requested a king bed room but somehow ended up with a queen bed room. Very disappointing hotel for the cost. Would not recommande."

"This is an outstanding hotel which has the vibe of a B&B but the amenities of a standard hotel. The property is gorgeous. The rooms are classic, quaint, and well maintained. The sleep was comfortable and even with my room by the road I heard minimal traffic sound. The staff were so kind and helpful. The highlights are the plated breakfast and afternoon snack which truly elevate the experience. This is a must stay hotel!"

"The check-in/out process was quick and easy. All of the staff were great. The room was updated and clean. The bed was comfortable. The restaurants and pubs attached to the hotel had great drinks and food. My only complaint would be the noise from the club on the weekends but I knew that when I booked so not really a complaint from me but something people should be aware of. I would definitely stay at the Strathcona on our next visit."

"Entrance & foyer very welcoming with well cared for flowers & plants. Room very nice but kinda skimpy on the towels (bathroom linens). Could have asked for more but shouldn’t have to. Don’t know why, but when putting the TV on, a Pin # was required??? Room achess and parking, great!"
