"The location is beautiful and understandable that it is in an ancient rainforest, however it doesn’t excuse the mould in some of the rooms or the hair that was clogging the sinks and showers. On arrival we decided to have lunch as they prepped our room, we found flies in our salads, not one but three. We had a 1.5 year old with us, so you can only imagine our shock when the room smelt of damp. They finally agreed to changing our room to only find more damp growing even on the pictures displayed...

"The resort is the only one of its kind in the main tourist area in Langkawi. It has multiple restaurants/ bars and 2 pools. The second pool had just been refurbished and was slick and modern, the larger pool area was more dated but was clean and really pleasant to cool off in. "We stayed in a Premier Seaview Chalet (1233) during the first week of May, so certainly not as busy as previous reviews indicate. It was hot and humid though and it took a few days to acclimatise. Thankfully the air conditioning in our chalet was very good and we loved the free mini bar, replenished daily. Great variety for breakfast at both restaurants.
