"I had reserved a King Suite with Sea View for our 30th wedding anniversary. When I arrived, the room only had a partial view of the sea through trees. Very disappointed that they advertised this room falsely. The manager at the front desk said there were no other rooms available for us to switch. The weather was hot and we set the air conditioner at the lowest setting (67) but it did very little to lower the temperature. "This hotel is overall a good, solid choice for a stay north of Seattle. All the amenities are there: breakfast, pool, exercise room, laundry, and several stores within walking distance. But a few cons worth noting: housekeeping is about a 4 out of 5 (attention to detail is lacking), and the hotel's entrance forces you to make a right turn when you leave which can be tough when traffic is busy and there is a railroad crossing nearby, which backs up traffic. "The room was not kept up. Walls needed to be painted the window was not secured properly and was nicked up. The headboard was nothing like the picture just plywood. And the vanity in the bathroom was just plywood. TV was not working we even got the guy from front desk. Someone had stolen the TV remote. I thought the Red Lion was a quality hotel, but I knew as soon as I stepped into the lobby. I got the impression it use to be a motel 6 converted. Will not go back there again."

"I enjoyed my room, not bad for a one night stay. The only thing that turned me off about my room was that I found stray hairs in the bathtub as well as on the cleaned sheets, and the floor was still a bit dirty after I arrived. I felt a little sketched out with the parking, but I didn't have anything happen to me or my car, so it was fine. The breakfast was good! The staff were all polite and helpful."
