"The good things: the property itself is very lovely and the apartment was as well. Big windows that opened up, Very clean and looks to be quite new. The top floor patio and breakfast area presented the most lovely views, and in the distance you could see the Eiffel Tower. A brand new metro station is literally at your doorstep, which was excellent! … because The not so good things.: there were no restaurants or grocery shops nearby. The afternoon we arrived we inquired where we could find a restaurant for our supper. There was one about an 18 minute walk away so of course that’s where we went. So the metro was our friend and once we would leave for the day usually by 9:30 to have a bite to eat, we would not come back until after our dinner. They did have a buffet breakfast every morning for €15 but if you don’t do a big breakfast you couldn’t just have a croissant and a cup of coffee. you also couldn’t have breakfast unless you’d made a reservation the day before, which no one had told us. There was no coffee machine in the apartment, just a kettle, some sleeves of instant coffee & teabags. So as a tourist, it wasn’t what we were used to. We are used to stepping out and within a block or so finding various coffee shops, restaurants and little Food markets. So for that reason, I wouldn’t stay there again. But it was a very nice accommodation."

"The staff at the Mercury Hotel were very friendly and helpful, and that was definitely the highlight of our stay. One positive aspect was the location. It was close to a shopping centre, so everything you need is nearby. The connection to Paris was also convenient, with Uber costing around €20 one way. However, overall the hotel felt quite outdated. In our room there were signs of wallpaper falling off, and we also experienced a leaking pipe in the bathroom, which we reported to the staff. The swimming pool water was very warm, which was nice, but the breakfast was quite basic and not what I expected. Unfortunately, the breakfast staff did not speak English, which made communication difficult. Out of all the Mercury hotels I have stayed in, this was definitely the poorest experience overall."

"This stay lived up to all our expectations. Great staff-room-bed-surroundings. Nearby train station to Versailles and the city. Room was made up everyday with fresh towels. There was a great supply of phone and PowerPoint connnections in the room."
