"The space was very comfortable and was local. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful, and Kiki was a great bonus. Although there wasn’t AC, opening the window and using the fan kept things comfortable for us, so we had no complaints. 😊"

"What a wonderful find this hotel was! Family run small hotel in a great location to enjoy the city of Cusco. Rooms are spacious, bed was very comfortable, lovely shower with good water pressure. The breakfast was awesome, the presentation of the food was adorable!! If I could give Casa Cruz Verde six stars I most certainly would! "

"Beautiful hotel. The rooms were extremely clean and the staff were always available to help. The hotel has an elevator which was very nice to have. Loved the location as we could walk everywhere. It was great to have heating in the room finally, but they only turn it on at 7:00pm and it shuts off in the morning around 6:00am. Breakfast was great. The only negative was the bathroom did not smell good, you could smell the sewer which was not pleasant. But we loved this hotel and would highly recommend it."

"Internet was good. Breakfast was nice. There was no AC in our room, no refrigerator, so we had to consume warm drinks and keep the door open because the corridor was cooler than our room. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was very helpful. If AC can be added to the rooms, our stay would have been excellent. "

"The room was very spacious and clean, and the staff was super friendly. I debated whether or not to write this, but I feel like other travelers should know. The first night of my stay I checked in kind of late after 9 PM. It was raining and there was a terrible sewer smell in my room. The smell lasted all night and I even tried to cover the drains with towels and cups and leave the door open. The next morning, the smell was slightly better, but it was still there so I decided I wanted to end my reservation early. The staff was very understanding and kind and did give me a refund. So I’m completely OK with mistakes as long as they are addressed and taken care of. The staff in the hotel did the right thing, and I would give them another chance. Who knows what the terrible smell was from if it was the rain or what but they did the right thing and fixed the problem so I applaud them for that. "

"We checked in late and the staff got us in quickly and made dinner recommendations. The room was clean. They packed us a "bag breakfast " since we were leaving earlier then breakfast started which was fantastic. The location is a little ways away from the typical walkable shops"

"Very nice and helpful staff, they went above and beyond. Excellent room and amenities, good restaurant. Near the Main Street and close to main square but fyi is at top of the hill so to come back to hotel from square is straight up hill. Very good stay we enjoyed it and would come back!"

"Great location only a block from the main square. Plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. You enter into the property and are instantly walking into a beautiful and peaceful courtyard which our room was accessed from. This property was built in the early 19th century as a wealthy Spanish family’s villa, so it has a lot of historical charm and is well maintained. The included breakfast was of high quality and lots of variety. Staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended if you’re staying in Cusco."
