"We loved our stay here. It is on the edge of the small town, but easily walkable to everything including a sunset bar that was awesome. I assume it was not coincidentally named Iguana Crossing, but it is literally located at a point where iguana after iguana cross the road. The views from our room and the pool were unbelievable and the wildlife that literally walks in the lobby is amazing. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful."

"We had a wonderful time! Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we also enjoyed an amazing dinner during our stay. The cocktails were delicious and perfectly made. The staff provided excellent recommendations for things to do on Isabela Island, which really enhanced our experience. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality. "We had a lovely night stay here. You’re on an island so some ants and bugs can be expected. This isn’t The Four Seasons so if you were looking for that you would be disappointed. What you will find staff willing to go above and beyond like Jonathan, who made our stay lovely. Love that you could just walk to the beach right behind the property. The peace and tranquillity you will find here is unmatched. I think this is the best place to stay on the island. We will definitely be returning. "

"Lovely place right on the beach. Great location, walking distance form lots of restaurants and shops. Not that far from pier, like 20 min walk. Staff super nice and helpful. Proactively reached out to us to make sure we had breakfast either in their terrace or giving us a to-go bag. I’d definitely will stay here again. "

"My husband and I stayed at Hotel Sierra Negra on Isabela Island for 3 nights. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and could hear the waves from the room. It is a 20 minute walk from the ferry terminal and close to restaurants, tour companies and shopping. We LOVED being directly on the beach and having an ocean view that included breakfast. "The owner of the property let us check in early and check out late. She also provided a great breakfast every morning including homemade breads and fruit juices. She also helped us with our excursions and hailing taxis. Very nice host with pride of ownership."

"Lovely hostal on Isabella Island! I've stayed at 4 hostels in the islands and this one was by far my fav. Many lacked the social aspect, but here the owners have a lovely beach bar across the road where they hosted events (game nights, trivia, etc) which was great to meet other travellers.
