"I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae."

"This place was absolutely spotless! Very accommodating as we were able to store our luggage onsite while we waited for check in. Staff were very responsive. Location wise, it is in a great spot. Tons of food and things to do nearby and everything is walkable. I loved being able to dial in a code to get in and out of the building as well as our room so I did not have to worry about a key card since there is no front desk. Will definitely book with them again next time I am in Scotland! "

"I specifically picked this hotel because it had gym. I’m a huge gym rat and I like to work out on vacations. But when I got to the location, the gym was closer repairs and I wasn’t notified before I checked in, or before I booked. I thought the apartment/hotel was darling and clean, but I wouldn’t have picked it I known it did not have an operational gym. Also, the showers need shower curtains. The same glass pain doesn’t block water from getting everywhere. "

"Placed a couple of roads back from Princes Street, this hotel was in a great position to walk to most tourist sights. The check in was quick and they held suitcases until the room was ready. The apartment was bigger than expected and really clean and modern, with everything provided for a short stay, including a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer! "Absolutely perfect for groups or families. Clean, great amenities, staff was super friendly and helpful with directions and things to see. The beds were soft and so cozy. It is a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of attractions, but I saw this as a positive and didn’t mind walking where we needed to go."

"This is a great little find. Perfect for a family who doesnt want to be on top of one another in a hotel. It's a little far out for a quick walk to the city center, but the area is beautiful safe and quiet. It was a great find for the pinch we were in when the trains were shut down and we didnt have a place to stay."
