Maya Beach Hotel
The room was very nice with an ocean view, but the shower was very inconvenient; it was very small. They have plenty of space to enlarge it. The staff's service is excellent, and the hotel has the best restaurant in Placencia.

Placencia Resort
Do not stay at this hotel. The resort is nice, but they double-charged for my room. I paid Expedia for the room, but the resort charged me again. Both the resort and Expedia are refusing to issue a refund. If you want to risk theft, this is the place to stay.

Our cabana had 2 beds, for 3 persons cabana #3. Description was real and honest, A/C worked and helped with the bar noise. The beach was taken care of, clean, all recommendations were spot on and appreciated. The cabana did not have the second doors with the net only. The water pressure in the shower ...

Kmar Villas
The hot tub was enjoyable although we only used it once as the weather was too hot. The bed was very comfortable but there was nowhere to store our clothes, so we had to live out of our suitcase for two weeks.
