Our room was not only spacious but also had a truly incredible view of Lausanne and Lake Geneva! The staff was very helpful. Breakfaast was plentiful and varied--but be sure to get there by 9:30--the staff clears the offerings by 10:00 a.m. The hotel is a half block from the subway and very convenient for most tourist destinations.

The restaurant at the property served very good steak. The property is basically a part of the hospital next door and you will see some patients who stay for the hospital cares in the breakfast venue. It felt strange when we realised that fact, but actually not a problem at all for the quality and price you get. And we saw a few new-born babies, which is a blessing.

Contemporary modern and spacious hotel. Shares reception and restaurant facilities with hospital but was not an issue. Very clean, excellent underground parking with lift access and close to centre of Lausanne.

Het hotel is een onderdeel van het ziekenhuis. Bij het inchecken liepen er patiënten langs op krukken en bij het ontbijt een dame met haar pasgeboren dochter. Vandaar de naam ook vh hotel. Dat hadden we eerst nog niet door. Onze kamer op de 4e verdieping was ruim, luxe en had een schuin uitzicht over het meer. De L-vormige kamer was perfect zodat wij als ouders apart om het hoekje sliepen en onze dochter privacy had dicht bij de badkamer.
