"Husband and family stayed one night. Got in super late and the we booked was not Available. She made sure they had enough places to sleep for the 4 adults. Pool had not closing times the boys were grateful it had been a long day of driving. Nice to get out and stretch. Great breakfast the next day and in a great spot to get in and out."

"Sorry for giving a "Good" rating for my stay from June 3 to June 7th. I found the desk clerks, maids, and restaurant personnel to be top-notch. However, to my disappointment, there were several visits to the bar/lounge with friends on 3 nights after dinner, and we were served by bartender Cortney. She displayed an attitude toward us that made us feel uncomfortable as customers. She also seemed to lack knowledge of how to prepare various cocktail recipes. Our first experience was at the restaurant where we requested 3 glasses of Cabernet Sauvignon to start. The waitress said she would check with Cortney if they had that. She returned and said, no not available, but she had a Pinot Noir. Ok, we will have that. Cortney brought the wine, but it was Pinot Grigio (a white wine)! We accepted her mistake and drank the white wine. After dinner, we went to the bar and ordered 3 Old Fashion cocktails. We ordered a glass of the Pinot Noir; she found some Cab. Sauvignon. "The shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom were empty. They are the large pump bottles and attached in the shower. I contacted the front desk and was told that it would be taken care of. It was not. I am handicapped and was told that I would have to park in the garage. Most hotels advise the guest at check in that a hold will be placed for incidentals. This hotel placed the hold but I was never verbally told that a hold was being placed nor the amount. I have stayed at this property since it opened many years ago but after this stay I think that I will not return. It is still nice but the customer service has degraded quite a bit."

"Pros: The Lodge was great! Beautiful views and all conveniently located to all of the trails and amenities. Front desk staff were always awesome. Diving pool was intimidating but fun! Cons: Dining options were non existent. They have an on-site restaurant that was still non-existent for the most part. All the negative reviews are correct on the restaurant. Let me start with this: I NEVER LEAVE BAD REVIEWS... This will be the exception. Literally took us 1hr, 40+ minutes to receive food.. only got 2 refills in that time. Not an exaggeration. We didn't bring any other food and didn't want to leave the resort because it was evening time or we would have left. We were told that they didn't have ranch dressing for the salads after we received the salads, didn't have any sweet tea (table next to us had sweet tea brought by a different waiter), and they got cornbread switched with rolls.. the waitress lied about that, too and said they didn't have cornbread so they had to do rolls... But my GF got cornbread.. so they got it switched by accident but they were just lying. Then they said they're out of the buffalo sauce for my tenders... We found all that out AS THEY WERE BRINGING THE FOOD more than an hr and 49 minutes later. I then asked if there was a manager that could help with knocking some stuff off and the waitress had the full to say "Why?" You know why. Almost 2 hr wait on an incomplete meal with ton of stuff wrong and out. Worst experience I've ever had dining."
