"The pros: Beautiful and clean lobby, bar, and bakery/cafe area with updated rooms. The breakfast and cold brew were very good as was the drink from the bar. We were offered a fresh sugar cookie while waiting in line to check in. The staff we encountered were polite and attentive. A cafe employee noticed that we were slightly overcharged and came to our table to make the correction. Be sure to utilize the complimentary shuttle during the week that takes you to the convention center or anywhere within a 3 mile radius.
The cons: There is no self parking lot, so you must either pay for valet at $63 each day of your stay or park in the nearby parking garage. There is construction right next to the hotel, which created a lot of noise- including a jack hammer at 8 a.m. There is no longer a sky walk connected to the convention center (but if you decide to walk, the convention center is only 4 minutes away.) We tried two separate times to call the front desk for a shuttle pickup but after waiting for a few minutes no one picked up the phone so we walked back to the hotel from the convention center and from dinner. The air conditioning unit was also very loud when it cycled on and off throughout the night."
