"Nice, homey alternative to the big resorts. Very good location and very close to the restaurants in the area. Breakfast was simple toast and eggs. We didn't read our booking closely enough and didn't realize there was a shared bathroom, but we are not picky and it was fine and quite clean. Only very minor complaint would be there were only 1 pair of towels provided (and no hand towels) and no bath mat to dry off your feet outside the shower."

"Carmen and her family showed kindness and excellence in hospitality. I was welcomed with fresh fruit and a cold beverage, followed by a quick walk around the place, which made me feel right at home. The view from the rooftop balcony was lovely, and the neighborhood setting was quite and restful after an active day visiting the historical sites and beaches. "The property itself was very nice inside the unit, definitely off the beaten path but for the price we couldn’t have asked for more, friendly staff even with language barrier. Unfortunately the pool was being filled at time of arrival and not available until the following day. There was confusion with our booking as I had received confirmation from Expedia and that I could pay upon arrival at property, however when we arrived they said we didn’t have a reservation as payment was not processed...

"First time in Mexico and it was truly an unforgettable experience! The resort was amazing in every way—from its beauty, variety of pools, and short walk to the beach, to the entertainment and endless food options. The entire hotel was very clean, and it’s clear that guest safety is a top priority here. The staff worked so hard, always with a smile, despite the long hours and the challenges of dealing with difficult tourists. Our room was spotless (even under the bed—impressive! lol). Every staff member we encountered was so friendly and welcoming. I honestly have nothing but good things to say about this resort, and we definitely will be back! We also had a massage, and it probably was the best massage I ever had. The outside air and atmosphere definitely added to an amazing experience. "
