We reported it to the girl at reception, in case we got the blame, who shrugged and said "it happens" she did say she would write it down though. Plentiful hot water in the shower. Rooms are not automatically cleaned, you need to ask at reception, which is fine. Lovely bar and restaurant but the restaurant is not open at weekends. This is clearly advertised though. "Absolute Horror! Worse than a bad Motel. Moldy bathroom and other areas, peeling ceiling, dirty, floor old and missing tile throughout, musty smell bathroom, hardly room to walk to other side of bed, patio door difficult to lock properly, main door was dirty, falling apart and had to slam to get to stay closed, bath tub so high difficult to get in and water leaked outside on to floor, toilet in a dirty closet which to pull pants up had to open door or hit head on the door, hallways mold on walls, etc etc. why out for evening to not have to be in the room any longer than need be. I usually don’t complain but this was so awful and to be listed as a 4* was as far from the truth as you can get. Requesting refund for this severe falsely advertised experience. This would be a 1* at best. Makes me wonder who is providing and verifying these ratings. Stay away!"
