"Overall, we were a little bit disappointed with our stay at L’Arveyron. When we first got there, the staff was very nice and helpful which was great, but before we walked into our room they mentioned they were having a "barbecue" outside that night. Our room was right above reception and rather than a barbecue it was more of a massive party outside and in the libby of the hotel with a DJ and karaoke. "Fantastic place, really friendly staff, excellent room with nice shower and comfortable bed. Fantastic breakfast. Highly recommend this place. Quick to the train station, only a few minutes away and not far from the funicular (which, if you're skiing runs before the ski lifts so from the hotel you can still get first lifts onto your mountain). Bourg is a lovely place."
