On our recent France trip we stayed Jean Marc’s guesthouse. Jean Marc was an amazing host. I traveled with my elderly mom and before I would Even ask for something he already would read my mind and accommodate our needs. Great breakfast and international guests to have a chat with. I highly recommend it for its quiet but short distance to Avignon. More personal experience being hosted by homeowner than being in a Hotel.

Lovely Gites in Provence

Wonderful Provençal cottage wonderfully hosted by Jean-Marc. The property is 7km from Avignon centre and has room for 3 spacious accommodations, maintained in Provençal style, and plentiful continental breakfast. There is a lovely pool on property also. Nothing is any trouble for Jean-Marc, who will give help and advice on local amenities and he encourages socialising amongst visitors, which adds to the experience. Ideal for pairs, could also be used for family occasions and holidays. We look forward to returning and seeing how Jean-Marc has developed his project in a year or two!

This is an out of the ordinary B&B! This ancient house is neat, clean and full of antiques. The in-suite room is very large, as well as the full bath room with a large bath and shower. The breakfast was serve with fresh croissant, bread and house made jaw. Simply delicious! Finally you cannot find a better host then Jean-Marc, which spend most of his life hosting people, one way or another. I you ever need a perfect place to stay to visit Avignon and its area, I highly recommend Le Mas Saint Jacques.

L'accueil de Jean Marc a été parfait. Hôte disponible et aux petits soins. Très agréable d'y séjourner. Proche d'Avignon tout en étant en pleine campagne. Le cadre est super, à refaire sans hésiter.

Nous avons passé deux nuits au Mas St Jacques. C'était parfait : la chambre enfin plutôt la suite, car très spacieuse, le petit déjeuner copieux pain frais,confitures maison, le jus d'oranges pressé ! La piscine juste pour nous. Mais surtout l'accueil chaleureux et sympathique de Jean-Marc, très attentionné.

Accueil exceptionnel !

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Jean-Marc alors que nous avions 2 heures d'avance. Il nous a tout de suite proposé de l'eau fraîche, de poser nos bagages et de piquer une tête dans la piscine ! Chambre très grande et spacieuse, petit-déjeuner varié et composé de produits fait maison. Jean-Marc aime ce qu'il fait, servir chaleureusement les gens. Je ne peux que conseiller cette chambre d'hôte.
