"Wow, the resort is wonderful as were the staff! Was a great, relaxing holiday. We stayed 5 nights in a hotel room, was nice enough. The hot water in the shower was iffy but other than that it was adequate and good for the price. Spent the last two nights in an Exclusive Villa, what a difference. The outdoor shower is amazing (always had hot water) and the room was beautiful. Will skip the hotel room and stay there the entire time next time. "Wonderful snorkeling right out the front of the resort and along the side of the resort. The best number of fish we've ever seen snorkeling . Water is crystal clear. Coral is also beautiful. The Giant clam sanctuary is within pushriding distance (30 tala each for half day hire from the resort which was cheaper than the 120 tala tour the resort charges). "Amazing place to stay however the only thing annoying is that when you want room service you have to order at the bar which defeats the purpose of ordering room service, you might as well eat in the restaurant. This was advised to me by front staff. But overall, worth the stay."

"We loved staying in our own little fale! It was comfortable and private! The views at the beach across the street were so stunning! They have a walk out pier with the perfect view! It’s a relaxing environment and everyone is so friendly and kind! You can swim at the pool or the beach! We’ll definitely stay here the next time we come to Savaii! We ate dinner there once and it was our favorite meal in the week we were in Samoa. "

"The rooms are basic and clean the property is an old colonial style place and Samoa fales for hire setting surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden and a pool, they serve a different breakfast each day very nice, the staff are lovely and helpful. The dining area is available for use to the guests and a communal kitchen. We often would buy food and bring it back and eat at the dining area. Felt like a true Samoan experience better one of the larger hotels. One slight negative is not safe to keep...

"I would stay here again. It was fantastic, so clean and spacious and value for money. Also safe, and parking excellent. There are shops below and restaurant is within in building and same level. Very up to date decor and fresh as well. Thank you for having us!"

"I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moatoga Hotel. Our rooms were always clean fresh. The staff were friendly and approachable, very honest also. Loved the experience and would recommend this hotel to everyone. It’s also across the road from the markets and and stores. Only downfall was the parking. Not enough places to park, but other than that 99% stayable. Loved the experience!"

"Our family of 4 (2 teenage sons) stayed in the Deluxe over water ocean front fale. It was a clean and spacious room with a beautiful outlook over the water. The beds were very comfortable. There was an aircon unit and 2 ceiling fans which provided ample cool air in the evenings. We ate at the restaurant and the food and drinks were great value for money. "Great stay at the resort the staff couldn’t do enough to help, food was fab in the restaurant, we had a lunch and a dinner, the oka and tuna sashimi were amazing and also the seafood salad. The hotel is walking distance to the cave pools which is a bonus. They even somehow picked up that it was my birthday and gave me a special shout out at the Fia Fia night!! "
