"The room was clean, well air-conditioned and had everything I needed (fridge, microwave, crockery and cutlery etc.). The bed was comfortable. Traffic/semi-trailer noise from the highway 500 m away was not a problem. One great feature was that hot water came out of the hot taps immediately, and so you don't have to waste many litres of water waiting for the hot stuff which is the case in most motels. I enjoyed walking around the interesting and well-signed little town of Grong Grong in the fresh...

"Great stay. Staff so helpful. Compendium so full of ideas especially the dining options...where to eat, how to book and delivery options. Nice grounds. All units downstairs face to pool with table and chairs at each door. Such a relaxing place."

"We didn’t stay, we had to cancel because Covid. I went onto Wotif and canceled a few days before the booking (Xmas 2020). Got a message back that Wotif were snowed under processing cancellations (because of Sydney outbreak). On day the of the booking I got a call from old mate at the brolga asking where we were. He had not received the cancellation. He said “no worries” he totally understood. Hence my five star review."
