"Friendly helpful staff"

"The Hotel is a little dated but the norm for a town like Coldstream. The food was good, the breakfast excellent and the staff really cared about the clients. We enjoyed it and the locals were friendly and the service for our dog excellent."

"Used the hotel as a base for a weekend break. Bedroom was comfy, quiet, and the shower was a good 'un. Everything I needed... oh, and the breakfast was cooked just the way I like it. I'll be staying again if I'm ever down that way again 👍"

"On entering the hotel you will be met by warm and inviting staff. off to the left of the reception is an insanely stocked whisky lounge but prices are on the steep side for you average dram. There is a 24 bar located en route to the rooms and an Aperol was £18!!! scandalous. Charlies is the main restaurant and breakfast area. breakfast was good but the plates were weirdly small, slightly bigger than a side plate. the smell of the “Smokies” reeked out the lobby at the lifts and filled the...

"The staff were all friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room a good size. The food was good without being exceptional. The hotel is a little tired and dated but we were very happy and their attitude to dogs being indoors was first class. We will be back I’m sure."
