"Typical B&B hotel, basic but clean with on-site parking. Helpful staff, breakfast available but very limited local dining options. Peppino's pizzeria - run by the slightly nutty and very funny Vincent ("Van-sonn") - is a 10 minute walk / 2 minute drive away. Fine as an overnight stop but not recommended for longer stays purely due to location."

"Outskirts of the city center of Aix-en-Provence. 15 min to the main center by bus 4. Bus stop is 3 min away by foot. Plenty of parking spot free of charge. Staff were very nice and friendly speaking English. The building itself is dated. Rooms faced with outside corridor like a motel, however we couldn't hear outside noise. Room was not big with quite basic amenity (no safe and mini fridge, provided Nespresso machine), although pretty clean which is more important. AC didn't work enough...

"This charming small hotel was a great base from which to visit Aix and all of Provence. It is a short walk to the historic district and the informative and helpful tourist information center. The hotel staff were helpful and knowledgable — when we wanted a special tour on short notice, they arranged for a driver/guide with no fuss. The room was modern, comfortable, quiet and cool (we were there in the middle of heatwave, and the room was a great place to recover from the heat). In sum:...

"I secured a superior room with a balcony. The bedroom was so tight I couldn’t roll my suitcase in to unpack at all. The living area - although big enough was outfitted with a couch that was so uncomfortable we couldn’t sit on it. Truthfully it was so hot during our visit that we likely spent more time in our room than expected so it could have been a bit of that. "Villa Saint Anges is a lovely place to stay. We enjoyed every minute that we were there. Our room was in the original building and overlooked the pool and the bed was very comfortable. We experienced a heat wave while visiting Aix so the big beautiful pool was enjoyed a lot! The staff couldn’t be more helpful and pleasant. We highly recommend this gorgeous property!"

"The Hotel Rotonde has excellent front desk staff, especially Emma and Natalie. They were always kind and helpful to since we don’t speak French. They were able to clear up a double reservation for us and switch one of them to our friends who were unable to stay at the B&B they booked."
