"The breakfast was nice. The room was clean and spacious. Great location to stay if you are going to visit Mackinaw Island. They had a free shuttle service to and from the ferry so you didn’t have to pay for parking at the ferry."

My 11 year grandson said “no way I’m swimming in that pool”. Very disappointing. There was a layer of film on it and you couldn’t even see to the bottom. I fear it could become a health hazard. NOT GOOD!"

"This is a peaceful, and quiet lovely resort with fabulous views of the Mackinac bridge and island from the spacious balconies. It's very clean, in part due to the no pet and no smoking policy, which is wonderful! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The evening fires on the beach with S'mores provided, are a huge hit, and Rosston is so helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful time, and plan to return. However there are a few small deficiencies that prevent me from giving 5...

"Staff rude, Cancelled trip, was charged anyway. This is the second time that I have been charged for a cancelled reservation. OK, so even if the cancellation did not go through, I was charged for 2 nights, typically, when there is a no show and this is a multiple night stay one night is charged."

"Very nice place! Owner is on site, and exceptionally helpful. Not a lot of bells and whistles,but what is there is well taken care of. A little dated, but it's perfect for what it is. Will certainly book again. Wonderful pool"
