PROS:
1. location is excellent
2. size of room
3. size of bathroom
4. design of hotel
CONS:
1. check in complex and false information given (e.g. told we couldn’t use our Amex card, but were actually able to use it when we checked out)
2. insufficient lighting in ALL areas of the hotel, including the dining room, the pathway from the main hotel block to the Building 5, and especially inside the rooms – overall very dark and substandard
3. internet slow and intermittent
4. music in dining room and lobby appalling and invasive (bad music, and played too loudly)
5. layout of buffet area was unusual. Did not flow. Seafood suspicious. Food overall was not hot, e g. hot soups served cool/cold;
6. blinds in dining room need to be raised to let in light. Too dark.
7. Impossible to darken the bedroom completely – always a light on behind the bed and under the sinks in the bathroom
8. Dangerous layout, with step from bathroom to bedroom
9. Air conditioning in room was impossible to control – always either too hot or too cold with 3 different controllers
10. Toiletries were substandard for a hotel charging this price
11. Elevator not working properly
