"The highlight of the stay was the lady who checked us in. She was super helpful and friendly. We were told about the history of the hotel, dinner recommendations, advised about the light show and shown around the hotel. I wish I’d gotten her name to personally thank her.
The hotel itself is modern, clean, great location. It has onsite parking with EV charging (not the cheapest around but convenient) lots of great bars and restaurants around. Only a few minutes walk from the old town."

"There are no clear signs to parking for the hotel and we ended up parking on the multi storey next to it. The reception on checking in was dismal, not very welcoming and when asked for a quiet room, she replied that all the rooms are quiet. This was not the case as we were wakened with ongoing road resurfacing works that started just after 6am the next morning.
The carpet in the room was dirty, we collected bits of mud from around the room. It was clear it had not been hoovered and the mirror...

"The room was clean, comfortable and a reasonable size. The location was OK but the external entry to the property was undesirable and in need of attention. Inside the property was in better condition but still could use some attention. Breakfast was good with good choices. Staff were helpful and professional and they obviously are not able to do anything about the state of the building. The price was good for the facilities that were there but it felt neglected on the outside."
