"I always stay at the Hudson Plaza Motel when I come into NYC. It's affordable, great value and located close to public transport easy to get to Jersey City and into Manhattan Every room I have stayed in has been clean and very comfortable. There is laundry on site and the staff are always welcoming and helpful "

"Huge disappointment!! Money spent not worth the experience. Phones down couldn’t communicate with staff on site. Tents are filthy, need to be deep cleaned. Dusty and dirty. Cobwebs in almost all the corners. Dead bugs all over the light fixture in my shower. The grounds leave a lot to be desired not groomed at all. Not picturesque at all!! "Best location for public transportation. Room was big, clean and love the crabtree and evelyn shampoo and conditioner. Left an earring after we checkout, the lost and found department was very helpful, we went back and Sayed was already waiting for us. Thank you so much Sayed! Downside was having to pay extra for parking. Overall it was a good place to stay. We will recommend this hotel to our family and friends."

"The staff was helpful! Unfortunately upon arrival in the lobby a mouse ran by my husband and I. We felt uneasy about staying! Check in explained it occasionally happens as the hotel is located next to path trains. We decided to continue with our plans and the room was clean so we stayed and all was fine."

"Cheaply furnished rooms with poor maintenance. Blinds not working, hinges broken to desk and room phone not working properly. Staff were responsive to issues but it was a disappointment for the 5 star hotel stay we paid for and expected."

"Great location. Easier to the ferry than we expected. We wish the pool would've been open. This hotel is a hidden treasure! Gregory's coffee was awesome each morning en rout to Ferry. We wish the Ferry schedule and train schedule would've been easier to access from our room or lobby posted daily."

"Good little hotel in Brooklyn with clean rooms and reasonable amenities. The breakfast is pre-fixed and carry out which was easy. Nothing fancy but enough. Xavier was so helpful at check in giving me a sense of location and options for local taxi. Only one elevator, which required the housekeeping staff to use the same elevator as guest. Not always convenient."
