"The hotel & room appeared fresh and clean upon arrival. However, the bed pillows were mini-sized, flat and needed to be replaced. There was mildew along the floor of the shower walls. Our floor was noisy—children running up & down the hall, running down the stairs. (Parent’s fault) One of the front desk managers was unfriendly when I asked for clean towels for our second night. "I went downstairs to ask for some more towels and other items to be taken to the room and was told they had no one on shift to bring the items to our room. I get back from running errands, about an hour and picked up the items went back to the room and it’s being cleaned. I was a bit baffled because I was told they had no one on shift."

"Very clean place with character. Lots of games/activities. A practical downside -- the rooms have no closets. No room safe, if that's important to you. No irons. We were in town for a wedding, so it was a little inconvenient not to have a closet. There were pegs on the wall where you could hang a few items (no hangers though). Also, during our stay, there was no running water for several hours due to a plumbing issue. I had to go to the lobby (the only working bathroom on the premises) to finish...

"The hotel and staff were wonderful, but people need to be aware of the noise of both the train whistle and fellow guests. There were ear plugs left as an amenity, but it was very difficult to sleep as the train whistle blew all night and the walls are very thin. I would 100% recommend for the location and amenities, but the noise for me makes it unlikely I will return."
