"The rooms appear fairly new, updates the beds were comfortable the room was clean and the walk in shower was great. The stairways and halls were a little dingy looking but I was pleasantly surprised the rooms were quite nice. Breakfast was typical to hotel breakfasts. My biggest complaint is that we did not get the room we reserved and there was nothing that could be done about it. We wanted a king and got 2 queens .. for that I was not happy"

"Our experience at Omstead’s on Erie was amazing, my friend, daughter and I are still talking about it. First off, the home was so well decorated, every carefully selected item has a story and the stories were amazing, all this with a great view of Lake Erie. Margo and Keith are great hosts, they provided us with many great local recommendations for dinner and Margo treated us to locally sourced fancy breakfasts. We will definitely be going back!"

"We didnt even stay in the room, my girlfriend was so upset about how cold it was in the rooms( the windows had been left open). There was dirt on the floors in the room and the bathroom. She also couldnt get any warm water out of the taps."

"i pay for exact amount with deposit of $200 but i don’t find secured , there are people surround me an when i’m about to check out i was looking for the extra card but i dont find it and the cleaner said thats ok you can leave? is it obvious that i present only 1 card they dont ask me were i put … cause i know i need to pay for the card when i lost it… how can the hotel give access to somebody don’t allowed to enter …"

"The room was perfect for our family. Large fridge, 2 beds and clean room with air conditioning during the heat wave. Breakfast was mediocre but at least offered and free. Friendly and clean environment, close to everywhere we were going."

"The rude front desk lady insisted in an additional $4.00 cash only payment even though I booked the room through Expedia and it was supposed to include all charges. She never gave me a receipt for the cash only payment she insisted on. The room charges were supposed to include breakfast but they only serve breakfast until 9am. "The place was not clean. It was very outdated. Screens were missing on the windows, fridge had mold in it, couch and chair were all stained. Went into the office the woman smelled to high heavens like B.O. I have not received my deposit back, even though I touched nothing, and left early."
