"This hotel definitely meets the Hampton Inn standard I expected. There was plenty of parking space available even late in the evening. I liked the hot breakfast items such as roasted potatoes and mini omelets. Quick and easy drives to Southport and Oak Island beaches. I also saw an alligator in the pond near the parking lot. There are warning signs posted about the alligator so just watch them from a safe distance."

"At the front desk, Ted was very supportive when we had an issue. Very much appreciated.
Hotel is older and somewhat shows its age. However, room was clean and bed very comfortable (as usual with Comfort locations). Toilet leaked however, flushing on its own a couple of times. Breakfast was very good, again as expected.
We always try to use Comfort Suites or Inn as no surprises and sleep well."

"This is a great property at Oak Island. It is very clean and economical. It also has a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. The only missing item was a hairdryer. It is within walking distance to several restaurants, shops, bars and even ice cream! It is pet friendly, but rooms are so clean you would never believe that a pet had been in the room. I will definitely stay here again."
