Farmstay in Lika-Senj

"We enjoyed the lodge. Very nice new construction. Unfortunately they were cutting concrete and it was very loud, and the internet was not working. We also found some of there rules about bringing in food a bit strange. I’ve never seen corkage on food. The restaurant was good and prices were fair."

"This place was indeed rustic feeling and quaint. The host was very helpful in providing us information on the best approach to take in Plitvice the next day as well. We could hear the guests next door in the morning, though not real loud. The breakfast was a bit lack luster, but there aren't tons of options near Plitvice. The room was comfortable enough-we were at the very top, so quite a few stairs to get to our room. Parking was very easy and plentiful, though the place was a bit hard to spot in the dark amongst the other nearby businesses."

"Conveniently located to the National Park.The room was basic but very clean. Very comfortable bed. Updated nice bathroom. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. They also have a restaurant 500 m away. We had breakfast there which was good and we were served in such a warm and friendly way, it was very delightful. Would stay here again and definitely would try their dinner menu next time after we learned that they raise their own animals for the restaurant."

"The location from the National Park Entrance 1 and 2 was about a 30 minute drive but is very close to entrance 3. Entrance 3 has, I believe, no parking charge. We had no problem with locating the residence (B&B) on GPS and the owner was there immediately when we arrived and let us into the room. Breakfast and dinner is served in a separate building next door. The TV had very limited English speaking channels but that is normal for the country. Breakfast was very good with eggs cooked to order. The buffet selection was fine including croissants (delish), and a selection of hams and salami and homemade cheeses. We also had dinner there. My wife had the whole broiled trout and was excellent. I ordered the pork on skewer and was a little too well done for my taste but that's just me. The reason for losing a star is the room was not made up the second day. Not sure if we should have asked for this service in advance. That being said, I would definitely recommend this B&B."
