The location perfect for exploring the 11th with quick access to the Metro for other adventures in the city. "The hotel is in a good area if you want a less touristy part of the city. It is a historic hotel and it is well kept. There are plenty of coffee shops, eateries, stores and access to buses and metro. It is safe and generally quiet after dark. Some of the staff were not as friendly as others. The internet didn't work for the first two days of our stay and they sometimes rudely insisted that it was our iPhones even though our phones are relatively new. They finally got that fixed by adding...

"Great location within a short walk of Gare de Lyon with its many Metro and RER connections. Loved everything about this hotel except that by luck of the draw, we didn’t get a room with a view. Out of about 10 rooms on each floor, two of them look out on a tiny courtyard that is nothing more than a shaft space within the building. AC worked great. Really appreciated having a mini fridge in the room! The breakfast was fine except that they only have mini croissants and mini pains au chocolat,...
