"We enjoyed our stay at Laguna Hills Lodge much more than we expected. I was initially a little nervous because the staff did not seem very approachable during check-in, but thankfully that first impression did not reflect the rest of our experience. "The breakfast selection was either bread, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, pancakes or boiled eggs. I initially went to the front desk to ask for towels for the pool and jacuzzi. They told me there were towels in a black cart at the pool area. I went to check out the jacuzzi only to find a filthy and cold setting. The jacuzzi was down for maintenance. I was told only after I called from my room. I only found out when I went to inspect the grounds and checked for the jacuzzi timer that the jacuzzi was...

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was clean, well-organized, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Although parking requires an additional fee, the overall experience was excellent and well worth it. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay."

"This hotel has always been amazing for us. But last night was unusual. The right side of the bed was for some reason sunken. So it hurt my back big time. next morning engineer came in and was so sorry to hear and see how the bed was. He talked to front desk and they agreed to refund me for the whole night. Unusual event but they took responsibility. This Irvine Marriot has always been great to us. Still highly recommended."

"There were a lot of hair on the bed, some red marks, sheets didn’t look washed, everything was old and beat up, no bathtub, rusty features full of hair - and they said they would not refund me even if I checked out two nights ahead of time."
