"We were blown away by our stay in this wonderful property. It is small boutique hotel which has been immaculately restored by the owners. We had a suite consisting of a bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. It was well equipped, warm and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the adjacent Commodore Hotel and the food was very good. This is one of the best places we have stayed in on our Australia trip."

"A truly amazing place to stay for independent adult travellers. It's not far from Port Willunga, McLaren Vale and road connections, but it is comparatively remote. You have to be self-sufficient as the staff are not on site most of the time. Expect to drive for shops, restaurants etc - and as there are no cooking facilities, you need to do that, or have meals delivered - but that is the charm.
