"Wake up call at 5:30am the first day was the hotel operator yelling and berating a guest for accessing the open (not a closed room) breakfast area. (We were on a different floor.) Breakfast area had no prepared hot food at all. Dry cereal, had to ask for milk, waffle machine, and white bread for toast. My young gdau visited and we went to the pool area. Hotel operator arrived about 5 minutes later and taped a notice to the door there would be a $50 fine assessed to the room if visitors were...

"The staff was friendly and informative. The breakfast room was great!! So many options and clean. The room was ok for our two day stay however, it needed to be deep cleaned. There was dust noticeable on headboard, dirty floor boards. There were ants in the bathroom shower and a spider on the wall. Pest control is needed. Great location for visiting the Taylor area. The motel is next to a main Hwy so you could hear loud vehicles quite late into the night. Guests were loud out in the part lot late...

"Good Things: bar in lobby, good breakfast, some updates Not so good: only some updates, can’t get a swim in before breakfast because pool doesn’t open until 9 am and breakfast ends at 9:30am. The only king room left was first floor right next to lobby entrance felt like a fish bowl with window next to entrance. Asked for a different room but staff couldn’t upgrade us to king suite because we booked third party - Expedia. We would have paid up charge to different room type. Had Expedia talk with...

"Traffic noise is absolutely horrible and the pool lights are shining directly into the room. We asked if there was a different room but was told, "no"; so much for paying for a suite. Plus a trash bag of garbage had been sitting out for 24 hours from an adjoining room and housekeeping did nothing. Not was I am used to with a Marriott Hotel, this was totally below standards."

"Room was small. Ancillary service for the room was provided every three days. Carpet in the common area needs to be replaced. Bathroom was remodeled and bed was clean."

"Room 111 smelled so terrible we tried to air it out by leaving the door open and blasting the AC . Didn’t help at all. We checked in so late and being on the road all day we didn’t want to try and argue about the room or go look for another place to stay. We just made do for the remaining early morning by sleeping.
