"Was very happy with the location of this great hotel. It was easy walking distance to English Bay with a great beach and restaurants. It was also close to Stanley Park by e-bike, and the hotel provided the bikes! The hotel is very modern and clean. The staff were all excellent. Someone was always available and always helpful. We used the underground garage and it was convenient and secure."

"The history and location of the Sylvia Hotel make it a very charming venue. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant remains very good. The views are delightful. It always feels like a genuine holiday when I stay at "the Sylvia", even if I'm working. "The 24/7 gym is a private gym. But you can’t use it 24/7. I wanted to use it at 6am and I asked the staff the night before and they said it’s not possible. So it’s a flawed advertising.
The rooms are hot in the summer, but they have portable AC units unfortunately the unit is right next to your head as you sleep and it’s like having a jet engine next to you. So you have to choose between hot or noise"
