"The hotel was overall nice and clean but a bit far from the main stretch- this would have been okay but the first 200 m or so of the walk very unpleasant through a dirty area. "The location is great if you’re going to the full moon party. The villas are a bit run down, furnished pretty cheaply. We had issues with bugs our first few hours in our villa. At first it was large millipedes coming out of the drain and then later found a huge cockroach in my belongings. "Excellent central location, quiet and friendly. Extended initial stay as it suited us so well. Need to be aware of multi storey buildings with no lifts (specify ground floor if needed) and showers over solid baths which need careful negotiating. Only negative is the WiFi disconnecting regularly - a minor annoyance."
