Very short walk to Liberdade. (Some uphill back to hotel but manageable). Plenty of restaurants and bars with in walking distance. Hotel employees were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast available for a price. Area was safe. City Center.

I had a very good and quiet stay at the ibis Liberdade hotel in Lisbon. A hotel with warm hearted and very friendly staff members. Top class breakfast.

The staff were friendly and welcoming upon arrival. I was allocated a good size double room on the 9th floor overlooking the castle. The room has basic amenities, but it was perfect for a short city break. Housekeeping were making the bed and took out the rubbish every day, which was amazing as the room was kept clean for the duration of my stay. The hotel is in a very central location (Liberdade- nearest Metro stations are Avenidas and Rato). Marque de Pompal and Restauradores are at walkable distance, which is very convenient as this is where the majority of tours and day trips start from. There is also a big Continente nearby where you can buy water and other everyday essentials. Despite being so centrally located I felt safe walking around the area on my own, even in the late hours, so I would recommend this hotel both in terms of convenience and safety.

The room was rather small, but the location for visiting Lisbon is great. Easy the reach the center of the city by walking. The hotel service and cleanliness was excellent

Great For Short Stays w/Dogs

The location is fantastic, near everything and in a quiet neighborhood. It's perfect for a short trip or if you plan to spend your time out exploring. Our room was small, but there was a place to set up a small workstation. We were traveling with two small dogs, and it was easy to walk them. We leave in PT so this will be our goto place for weekend trips to Lisboa.

Great Location

It is in a great location, near main shopping street. The room is very clean and comfortable. Both the check in and check out receptionists were great. They helped with early check in by getting me to join Accor as a member, and of course later with later check out.

The hotel is close to shopping area. Very close to really nice restaurants. There’s a metro nearby but uber is cheap. There is one downside: there is no mini fridge in the rooms.
