Do not stay at this hotel- despite showing the staff several live bed bugs and a leak in the ceiling they refused to give us a refund for the 3 nights. They gave us a refund for 1 night and moved us to ‘a suite’ that was shabby at best, dated, marked carpet, ripped and patched wall paper, damaged furniture (the room was supposed to be €440 a night I wouldn’t have given them €100). The original room was modern and stylish. When we politely complained the front desk staff were embarrassed the management couldn’t care less. Their little gift for the inconvenience was a small tub of Pringles a bottle of water and 4 tubs of peanuts. Not a lot of use but especially not if your daughter has a nut allergy. They still charged us for the room service coffees which we did pay for. Despite reaching out to management on 3 occasions directly and via Expedia they are not interested in offering a refund. Expedia were on it at first but as soon as the hotel said no, they lost interest and did not update us despite me chasing twice. This review is not out of vengeance but I am sorry bed bugs in a 4 star hotel is unacceptable. Never mind the leak that was on the floor that we had to mop up with a towel.
