"The whole historic establishment was clean, well restored, and well maintained. Unlike some ultra-modern hotels, there was ample storage space in both the room and bathroom. The room floor was carpeted. Staffing was ample, friendly and courteous, knowledgeable, and largely proficient in English."

"Flott hotell med god beliggenhet til gamlebyen. Her er det bare å ta på seg gode sko og vandre rett ut i gatene. Personalet var imøtekommende og hjelpsomme og frokosten var god. Litt kjedelig med utsyn rett inn vinduet til en nabo, men ikke noe en gardin ikke kan løse."

"Great lobby and bar area to hang out in. Casual comfortable setting. Breakfast staff were very friendly. So convenient to a huge variety of restaurants and patios. Very walkable in the flat part of old Lisbon."

"The hotel is in a great location. The room and bathroom were spacious enough for 2. The staff was great and helpful. There is a bar present but it’s not a true bar. A server comes from next door to pour a drink. So if a bar in the lobby is important, this hotel may not be for you. Would definitely stay here again"

"Really enjoyed our stay , front desk and bar staff were excellent, breakfast was fine but needed some variety, no sausage in Portugal! We did find all the construction to be very loud during the day and the trams pass in front of the hotel at all hours. The entertainment in the bar was nice and having water and snacks throughout the day was a plus. Would recommend but be aware of the construction noise."
