"This stay was a lovely family weekend stay overall.
The biggest issue for us was the buffet. It was average, repetitive, had no flow to the order (eg: no ketchup at kids nugget station/no milk by breakfast station)
There was a lack of ice cream flavours and overall desserts for kids.
However, the dinners at the restaurants were so good! Food, choice and service.
Unfortunately families are not allowed to cross into the adult section and dine. Another minor issue we had. The adults are allowed to cross into our section and use up our family amenities like cabanas, and it makes our bar and food areas over crowded with a very different vibe at the entertainment pool…this is not uncommon for adult/family shared sites. Just a general remark we notice.
Kids zone and splash park really good!
Unfortunately our room had a drainage smell on the second day onwards from the toilet and shower, we reported but nothing was done so we just tried to manage it ourselves.
It was a good and memorable stay overall. Staff are great."

"Everyone was kind and friendly on the property. The scheduling of reservations for the restaurants onsite was consistently wrong. They were a little pushy with trying to get us to join the travel club. The property was beautiful and the food was good overall particularly the Jamaican food. The steak restaurant food needs some help as the steaks were not great. The excursions were fun but a little pricey. Overall I had a great experience and would go again."
"One of the best beaches in the world + a few great free excursions + slightly-better-than-cruise-ship food quality. We tried most of the dishes available on the property, and while only a few were bad, few were great. While there is always something solid at each buffet, and the ‘high end’ restaurants weren’t terrible, we didn’t have one bite during our stay that begged us to eat it again. You visit for the beach…and the beach is worth it.
Snorkeling and catamaran cruises were great. The gym is great. The grounds are kept very clean considering some people act like animals. The drinks are somehow just mediocre, a lot of pre-mixed beachy cocktails, best to order your own unique combo that won’t be pre-mixed. Reserve your beach chair early if you want shade and an unobstructed view. But again…what a beach.
Also be prepared, if you’re staying on a Saturday night, expect thumping bass until *4 am*. We had a noisemaker on and still only got a few hours of sleep.
Also, the beach vendors will never stop. We were standing on our deck in our bathrobes and a guy hollered at us from the beach. They’re so relentless we joked that a guy was about to pop out from underwater with scuba gear and ask us if we wanted to buy weed. Just a bit much."

Royalton Hideaway Negril, An Autograph Collection® All-Inclusive Resort - Adults Only
8/10 Good
"Overall the resort was great! I didn’t know that the resort had just reopened, so there were extremely unexpected delays with checkin and items needed in the room, i.e. an iron and ironing board. Fire alarm was going off sporadically and it was loud! I was upgraded to a swim out and although it was nice, the pool was not clean at all. The food was great and the staff was as helpful as they could be I guess, but very jovial and pleasant. I’m sure when they are back up 100% it will be amazing and more timely with less delays. Although there were some cons, I still recommend staying here."
