"The place was clean but a bit outdated "

"We had room 15 but the bed sloped downwards against the wall. Not flat. Very tiny ...... But bathroom was modern . Clean and tidy . No shops nearby and need a car to go to the shops . Reception wasn't open in the evening when guests arrive . Denise was good and welcoming. Expedia rates are much better than the room rates if booked direct . No heater in the room either and temp plunged to under 7 degrees while we were there. "

"Room was not cleaned, there was spider cobwebs under TV unit, bathroom. Floor was dirty with dirt and gum was stuck on the floor under the bed. Lizard was there in the bathroom. Other than that there was no issue. "

"What a beautiful place to stay! Our room was comfortable (a little warm and no AC) and the staff was very helpful. We got great recommendations for dining and sightseeing from them. I highly recommend visiting the Katoomba area and Kurrara Guest House is a perfect place to stay. Good breakfast and very charming!"

"The TV did not show channel 7 in which we always watch a AFL match. "

"I’ve stayed here previously (around 2016 or 2017) and they’ve done a nice refresh since then. The room we had this weekend was a family room with a double/queen and 2 single beds. Plenty of space for us. The room felt clean. Our only drama was that the wifi seemed a tad unreliable but we managed fine with what we had. Our mobile service was a bit hit and miss. A little vending machine was good for a few snacks for the kids. Location is so easy to the 3 Sisters, probably less than 5 minutes. "

"I had the continental breakfast which served yourself and plenty to chose from. The main kitchen was good. "

"The property location is good with shops nearby. But the property condition was very poor with leakage in the bathroom, bed rugged with a sagging mattress so much so that my daughter now has a sore back due to sleeping in that. The property did not have a drinking water fountain anywhere and the only option was to fill water from the bathroom. The staff were however very warm and were doing their best to help. "

"This is a budget motel, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. The room had the usual budget motel musty smell. The shower stall is small. But on the positive side, the room had a couch, a dining table, and the table settings needed to have breakfast in the room. The heater worked well, as did the available blankets."

"Smell of sewer and mould was overwhelming, trash and dirty laundry was piled in heaps along the way to reception, I am not sure why this location is allowed to operate, had to find emergency lodging elsewhere, because of this I do not trust Expedia and will no longer be using their app or services"

"Nice location with great views from the rooms. The rooms however do need a modernization (the bathrooms in particular) and the floors were a bit smeary with residue of cleanser. Be aware that the road leading there has many pot-holes (a warning sign would be helpful, especially when arriving in the dark) and while that may not be in the purview of the hotel, those on the driveway and parking area should at least be fixed by the hotel."
