"No trash cans in the room? Not sure why. Tv would not work says no WiFi and not channels for signal. Tried to call the main office with no answer. All WiFi networks were locked. Google says this place is permanently closed so that’s also weird. Overall room was clean but definitely looked like they were still remodeling. No dishes but stove and everything in room also weird usually when we stay anywhere with a stove there’s at least plates and silverware. "

"We arrived a day early for a conference downtown and chose to stay here to save money versus book additional night at downtown hotel. This hotel was SO nice. Staff was friendly. I also loved that it was close to a couple stores for us to do a little shopping for things we had forgotten. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again! "

"It wasn’t horrible, but it was far from great. The rooms were unkept. Surfaces not wiped completely, some weird liquid stain on the wall by the bed & floors that were definitely not mopped, maybe(??) swept… The restaurant being closed was pretty disappointing, especially since breakfast is supposed to be included in the stay, if I’m not mistaken. A heads up during booking would have been greatly appreciated. Either way, a little less focus on the “already gorgeous” (as stated by an employee)...

"No hot tub"

"This hotel is one of our favorites. Any time we stay in Grand Rapids we come here. The pool and out door hot tub are fabulous. The rooms are big and spacious. The breakfast is fantastic. "

"The pool was nice. The bed and bedding were clean and comfortable. The hotel was pretty run down with worn carpeting. In our room, the carpeting was newer. The room had been painted recently, but there were paint runs and spatters. The toilet seat was broken and the shampoo container was broken off the shower wall. There was a faint unpleasant odor in the room."

"4 hours to check in. Had to wait in lobby with two young children. We had a reservation for weeks, but they had nothing available. Someone threw up in pool area and possibly in pool. All they did is run a wet mop and call it good. We did not use pool area. Would like a refund from Expedia."

"We stayed here for the fifth third race and it was a perfect weekend being able to be right in the heart of downtown and being able to walk to all the events."

"The staff were all friendly and it was a nice atmosphere. Just a decent amount of traffic noise due to the freeway and possibly from the main road. Also conveniently located close to downtown."

"The location of the hot tub is located so privately that I could not use it the last night I was there, because a couple was in it and having intercourse on the stairs. Apparently they did not care that it was also surrounded by windows. The staff handled but seriously not cool. "
