"Clean room"

"I usually don’t write hotel reviews unless a place is either so bad it deserves a documentary… or so good it makes me question my actual home. 😂 This time around, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jacksonville Blount Island absolutely delivered. From the second I walked in, the presentation and customer service were flawless. The lobby was clean, the staff was friendly, and nobody looked at me like I was inconveniencing them by existing. That alone deserves applause these days. 👏 Now let’s talk...

"Parking was right outside the door and the room was very clean. There were a lot of kids probably because of Spring Hill suites being attached to the courtyard. Other than that, it was great!"

"Location was convenient to Fernandina Beach, shops, and restaurants and the room was very clean, updated, and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly; however, the halls and elevator of the hotel were very dirty with stains and trash but overall a decent stay."

"This was a nice facility with friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms are spacious and it also hepled having a fridge/microwave and stovetop. Makes for a convenient stay. Would stay here again."

"The hotel itself is older and looks like they are updating the outside. The room and breakfast area were clean and well maintained. The pool and pool area needs upgrading. It also needs to be cleaned more often. They (staff) are a little over the top regarding pool towels."

"Beach view was lovely. Hotel was very clean. Staff was great. The only downside was the parking, we were able to find a spot very close every night but if we didn't then the valet parking was going to be $32 a night for a small/ medium sizen SUV."

"very clean with wonderful ocean front room and great service. Parking fee charged but no valet and beach /pool towels have to be signed out and are threadbare. There are also no beach chairs/umbrellas provided by hotel- they must be e rented from a concession and cannot be charged to your room. Minor inconveniences but surprising for a beachfront hotel. Overall, a nice stay"

" Real fast was the high spot. Stayed a week and never was cleaned. Limited towels. "

"The lobby staff is very friendly and greeting you at the front desk to get you checked in. Lobby looks newly updated and gave a vibe that this was going to be a great hotel. Once checked in drove around hotel parking lot sitting in parking lot did not feel safe getting to room hallway smell like wet dog"

"I was there for the Jacksonville Jazz Festival, which is a very large event. Hotel was fully occupied in the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The only suggestion I would have is that they should have more bartenders when there is such a large event. I waited almost 30 minutes at the bar to get a drink. The bartenders were just overwhelmed by the crowd."
