"Great Hotel"

"Amazing Breakfast, and friendly people willing to help you out. Miranda was great she talked to me a couple times about what I was doing on my vacation there when I was ordering my breakfast. Very happy with my stay there."

"We were surprised to find that the majority of the rooms were on the second floor with long staircases and no elevators. Since I have leg problems and cannot climb stairs, the staff was good enough to change our room to one with an elevator. The room was clean, the heat and AC worked well. The parking was a challenge at times. Our room was very small and so was the size of the shower, sink and bathroom in general. We had just the bare necessities. The staff was very accomodating and nice."

"Clean room no complaints"

"The room was clean, staff ok but the $40 I spent on a long bath was horrible. Staff was loud and sprayed me while cleaning the tub next door. There was a problem client that was in and out of her tub due to heat. She should have left. I have been many times prior without a bad experience. This was definitely a bad experience. Don’t know that I will ever return."

"Gretchen and Chris are amazing hosts! They are so friendly, full of information to share and suggestions for the area, and make you feel at home. Their property is beautiful and comfortable. My husband and I toured around Oregon for 10 days and this was my favorite stay!"

"Parking sucked we could haedly get my small suv in-between the 2 cars parked there at our cabin, the 2 cabins on either side had prople living in them full time it looked like and both where loud and playing music tell about 3 am .just over all felt sketchy "

"Great place! The price point in the state matched. Great location right in the middle of everything Hood River has to offer. It was nice to walk everywhere. The hot tub was perfect and the sauna is a great hot temperature 195°. We stayed in a king size river view. Because the hotel was built in 1905, all the windows are small, but the views were very nice. "As always, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much. It was originally built by the railroad in the early 1900s to house railroad employees, and recently was very tastefully remodeled and updated. The staff are kind and helpful, the food is good, and they have a nice selection of beer and wine. They do have a single refrigerator for guests in the lobby, but it's small and if the hotel is busy it might be insufficient. I personally would like to see the same size refrigerator in each room, but...

"Beautiful little cottage. The only suggestion is to refine the check in process. Through Expedia I did not get the message to contact us we were checking in after 7pm. Expedia also did not provide my number for them to contact me. He charged my card without contacting me. Despite this the stay was good. "
