Khách sạn Livry-sur-Seine

"The description is not what we expected, it says residence chateaux de le mee but it’s a location with various buildings with couples of rooms, not as expected Difficult to have parking as the area is full of vans from work company The buildings are old with faded facades, the location is use as a place to stay for workers and not travellers Our room, A158 was dirty and smelly, with neighbours listening load music When I told about the noise, the answer was that the holiday is finished and...

"Very small room"

"Ecerything was Excellent except...they say that they have air conditioning, and they have an individual modern thermostat in each room, BUT they control the temperature setting. Our room stat was set at 80 deg F. When I tried to set it to 72 def F, it would not allow me to reset it. So, I figured I would just open the windows. They have them screwed shut so we had to sleep in an 80 degree room with no fresh air. Other than that the hotel was excellent."

"Rien à redire. Personnel au petits soins. Super calme, super propre, super lieu, super petit dej. Le bonheur des petits oiseaux au réveil."

"It was wonderful to stay in their home. They manage their guesthouse professionally, with a friendly breakfast service with local jams and honey. They seemed genuinely concerned about our well-being during our stay. The room was clean and with old-style amenities that seem to have disappeared from French hotels, like the washcloths for the showers and even just tissue paper. "

"Very clean, great location, and unique layout around a central courtyard. The standard rooms are small with what would be closer to a 'double' bed in North America, so if you need more space go with the larger rooms and beds--it was perfectly adequate for our needs. Very close to the Chateau, main shopping and market area, restaurants and the wonderful park paths for walking. We found it a good alternative location to fly out from Charles de Gaulle airport the next afternoon, but your experience...

"The location is fantastic - with views of the Fontainebleau Chateau and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our room was elegantly appointed, very clean, and thoughtfully presented. The beds were very comfortable and the room contained eerything we needed. We easy found uber rides to get to Vaux le Vicompte and Barbizon. Our host Philip and his brother were perfect hosts, this hotel having been in their family for 3 generations - they have kept it traditional and yet have...
