Metropole Hotel needs a bit of TLC.
"We were visiting family in Llandrindod Wells and this seemed one of the few hotels open there now. It's a massive place in need of tlc. Not sure if the owners will ever be able to get it back to its former Victorian splendour. The pool and spa area are a good extra. Not really sure it's a 4* hotel ..."

Wonderful accommodation and environment
"The cottage is situated amongst farmland environment. We received a great welcome and very helpful information for good eating and trips. Excellent views Kevin and Tracey were very welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. Overall a wonderful stay and I highly recommend them."

Lovely area, but town rather run down and considering this was the Victorian Weekend festival - most shops were closed on the Saturday as was the Cycle museum, and the Spa tea rooms

Went back to revisit area that I went to as a child. The museum was well worth a visit. Walk around the lake was nice, but the cost of hiring a boat was a little expensive. Also, unfortunately, like many other town centres shops have closed.

A lovely town and a great place to visit. Also the local Ford Dealer "Tremont Ford" did me an amazing deal on my new Ford Kuga which i have come to collect.
