"A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience. Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer. Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future."

"D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? There were plenty cleaning materials and cooking facility...

"We as a family of 5 + a 3 yr old spent a delightful week at Penuwch Fach in July/August 2024. We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect. We were met by the owner and there was a welcome wine/biscuits plus tea and coffee. There is a Nespresso Gusto machine too plus a few pods :). "Location excellent. Grounds and gardens beautiful with plenty of wildlife. Cottage quaint but in need of modernisation. Kitchen basic but needs new drawers as couldn't open many. "The.only thing I would advise is to make the menu sound more appetising. Beef pie, cabbage and potatoes doesn't grab me. Also, the pie was fine but the plates were overwhelmed with potatoes, peas and cabbage, far too much and a lot must go to waste!"

"I had a lovely stay at The Glengower. It is situated right by the beach and the views are stunning. The room was very clean and comfortable. Cooked breakfast was amazing, the rest was adequate but minimal. The staff were friendly, attentive and efficient. I had an evening meal which I couldn’t fault. Will definitely stay again. "

"A Charming and Peaceful Stay in Aberystwyth Stay at the Queensbridge Hotel was an absolute delight! From the moment I arrived, the friendly staff made me feel incredibly welcome, and their helpfulness was consistent throughout my visit. The hotel offers a wonderfully peaceful environment, perfect for a relaxing getaway. My room was comfortable, and I was especially impressed with the clean bathrooms. One of the highlights was definitely the lovely breakfast—a fantastic way to start the day. In the evenings, the in-house bar was a cozy spot to unwind. Even better was the outdoor terrace, which provided the perfect setting to sit and enjoy the breathtaking sunset. The location is also excellent; the hotel is quiet, yet only a two-minute walk from lots of food options, making it incredibly convenient. I highly recommend the Queensbridge Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly, and quiet place to stay in Aberystwyth."
