"The hotel was exceptional , the rooms were amazing and the food was 5star . The only issue we have is the manner that the head or I presume the head of service in the breakfast restaurant spoke to her staff . She in our view needs to put on a course for man management. I have to say if we had been spoken too the way she addressed her staff we would have walked out . She was the only let down in the whole of the hotel . "

"Breakfast was lovely size portion very good staff so helpful, only thing to complain about was the bathroom damp and shower curtain let water out onto the floor thats our only complaint but would definitely stay again."

"A perfect stay and will definitely be back. Easy check in, the rooms, 1 and 2, were fantastic and great for the dogs. The facilities in the room were everything we needed. The bar and restaurant were really well set out and the decor created a nice homely feel, very relaxing. The food was perfect, good portion sized, nicely presented and really good quality. The cheese pie was fantastic. Really good selection of drinks at the bar and a good choice on the wine list. There was a bit of a wait in food, it was busy and they had parties on. That made it better for us, far too many places throw courses at you one after the other and it feels rushed. It was nice to just relax and take our time. After a great night’s sleep, a fantastic breakfast. Again, good quality food, perfectly cooked and nicely presented. Everyone on the team here was so welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. The waitress serving dinner and the two ladies at breakfast deserve a special mention, they are everything hospitality should be, they’re a great asset to the business. We’re already planning our next get together and can’t wait to return. Thank you everyone for a fantastic stay and for making our Christmas get together perfect. "

"The staff were amazing nothing was to much trouble, we requested a quieter room due to it being a Saturday night and was put on the 2nd floor. The restaurant food was lovely, this is such a lovely place to stay in Shrewsbury very central would definitely stay here again in the summer "
