"Lovely little cottage with everything you need and more. Hot tub and outside area was spotless. Shelf for disposable bbq's was a nice touch. Nicola and John were great hosts."

"D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? There were plenty cleaning materials and cooking facility...

"Wow, this was so quiet, it was amazing. Literally silence. It was a really great to just stop. There was no TV, no radio, nothing. Literally forced to unwind. It is really well placed for Harlech and even down to Barmouth. But sitting outside in the morning having breakfast was just spectacular. "Poor mattresses, one single power point in twin bedroom , sleeps 4 but only 3 drinking mugs & 3 forks, no kitchen knives, no outdoor furniture even though a notice told you to store it, no where to hang wet towels etc, light switch in double bedroom behind door, loose shower bracket, difficult shower controls, advertised patio is inaccurate, it is merely the shared walkway for the estate. The location is wonderful. Overall not worth the price. "

"Excellent base for exploring the Llyn Peninsula and Eryri National Park, plus it’s right on the Welsh coastal park so can walk into Porthmadog. Free road parking just outside the property - loved walking our dog on the beach across the road and watching all the birds in the evening, including an osprey fishing in the estuary.
