"The sister and brother who run this lodge are amazingly gracious and extremely helpful. My room was clean and comfortable, had a great view as well. The food was all made from scratch and was delicious. "The property description on Expedia is incorrect. This tea house does not offer rooms with private bathrooms. Their nicest rooms offer an attached squat toilet with a bucket of water. There is no sink and no shower in the “private bathroom.” The advertised “hot shower” is a communal hot shower next to the dining room. The western toilet and sinks are also communal. The owners were unaware of our booking until calling back and forth with someone in Kathmandu. They’re nice people and the tea...
