"I had a very disappointing experience at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Raleigh Cary. When I first entered my room, I immediately noticed that the shower was in very poor condition. It was visibly dirty and, even worse, it was not functional at all. At around 9:00 PM, I contacted the front desk to report the issue. The staff acknowledged that the room I had been assigned was actually not supposed to be in use because it was undergoing maintenance. This was frustrating to hear, as it should never have been given to a guest in the first place. While they did move me to another room on the 4th floor, the situation was still inconvenient. I had to gather all of my belongings and move everything upstairs late in the evening, which added unnecessary stress to my stay. Overall, this experience reflected a lack of attention to detail and poor room management. I hope the hotel improves its processes to ensure that rooms under maintenance are not assigned to guests in the future."
