"We loved this hotel. It is just a 20 minute walk, and five minutes on transit from the main touristy district. We prefer not to be right in the center of the tourist district, because the restaurants are all a rip off, and it is noisy. The Up Hotel has lots of little shops and cafes around it that locals use. "The hotel was very well connected, within walking distance of the train station and with plenty of transit options nearby, making it easy to get around. The bed was comfortable. I was a bit surprised there was no complimentary water, which feels like bare minimum in today’s hospitality standards. Another downside was the noise, as you could hear doors from other rooms closing and slamming quite often, which could be disruptive at times."

"It's like a frat house for European incels. They're not really interested in any cultural activity that doesn't include alcohol. The place gets trashed every night and the cleaning staff does a stellar job every morning. There's only two toilets and two showers for about 100 guests on the first floor, near the kitchen. "The hotel is in a good location for transit- close to Octagon. Lots of good restaurants in the area. Rooms are very nice with modern amenities- great shower. The only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars was the less than enthusiastic front desk and breakfast staff. They were fine- but not welcoming or enthusiastic to make your stay special. Overall a really good hotel at a moderate price point. Would recommend for sure."
