"This was ok. I wish they had more information listed on their site, which would have avoided some of the issues we had. If it was listed on the site, I could not find it. Before our stay, I wanted to book a spa treatment, but there was no information on how to do so. I tried calling several times, but no answer. We stayed here one night on our Alpine road trek and were looking forward to using some of the spa amenities.

"Lovely, clean, quiet hotel.
We stayed there prior to a visit to Eagles Nest, which was a short drive from there. There is a nice bar next door, which was convenient for food.
We stayed in room 1 on the ground floor and were initially worried that it would be noisy in the morning as it was right next to the entrance to the kitchen. We didn't need to be as we didn't hear a thing, despite the breakfast room being quite busy when we went in. There was a good choice for breakfast.
No air conditioning...
"This was the nicest Gasthof I stayed in on this trip. The room felt new and spacious. The bathroom was very sleek. No A/C (expected), but the window had a bug screen and they gave me a fan when I asked. The staff was friendly and helpful. I asked for laundry services and it was very mindfully done and a good value. Would definitely come back if I return to Berchtesgaden!"
